A GIF (pronounced JIF as in peanut butter) is a graphics file format. A GIF needs a GIF projector, better known as a GIF VIEWER for you to see the graphic. If you have a new version of the America Online software (Windows 2.0 or Mac 2.5 or higher) you will be able to view this with America Online. Otherwise you will need a GIF viewer.
There are many GIF viewers available online and it is up to you to choose the one best suited to your computer and your personal needs. If you have an IBM compatible you can try CShow. Mac users can try GIFConverter. Both of these are shareware programs and are online in the AOL software libraries along with many other other GIF viewers available in the AOL software libraries.
After you have downloaded the file, open your GIF viewer then select OPEN and look for the files: PPOND2.GIF, PPOND3.GIF, PPOND4.GIF and PPOND1.GIF in the directory where you downloaded it. If you didn't specify a directory/folder for downloading it is probably in your AOL or AOL/Download directory or AOL/Online Downloads folder.
The text file can be opened with any word processor. It is too large to be opened completely with AOL. After you have downloaded the file, sign off and open your word processor. Select the command for open a file and look for the file MASS.TXT in the directory where you downloaded it. If you didn't specify a directory/folder for downloading it is probably in your AOL or AOL/Download directory or AOL/Online Downloads folder.
